MUNDO LINGO

Mundo Lingo is an IMAX documentary that invites viewers on a wondrous journey through mankind's greatest invention - languages. Narrated by Stephen Fry and shot in familiar and exotic locations around the world, the film invites audiences to experience the most amazing sides of language on an emotional and sensory level, through sights, sounds, music and stories from around the world, deliberately avoiding linguistic explanations or analysis. From a Namibian baby uttering her first word to an experienced Chinese calligrapher drawing on the desert sand, comical Italian tongue twisters to a Kansas auctioneer shooting words like bullets, from ancient tales as old as time told around an Australian desert campfire to a Xhosa rapper busting lyrics in her recording studio. Mundo Lingo is a song of praise to languages and an audio visual experience like no other; a stylised and compelling odyssey through our greatest invention. Think Baraka, with a touch of Our Planet, for languages.
